What is mbtai?

mbtai is a free tool that helps you discover your AI agent profile. Answer 20 quick binary choices and get a machine-optimized system prompt tailored for ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI assistants. Your profile describes how you prefer AI to respond—verbosity, technical depth, creativity, and more.

How long does the quiz take?

About 60 seconds. Each question is a simple A or B choice—no scrolling, no maybe. Pick your preference and move on. You can skip questions with the spacebar if you're unsure.

What are the different profile types?

mbtai offers three profile types: Work (optimize AI for productivity and professional tasks), Dating (get matched with compatible partners based on your personality profile), and Hobby (style AI for creative projects and casual use).

How do I use my agent profile with ChatGPT?

Once you complete the quiz, click 'Copy for ChatGPT' on your result page. Paste the block into ChatGPT's Custom Instructions (Settings → Personalization → Custom instructions). Your AI responses will adapt to your preferences automatically.

How do I use my agent profile with Claude?

Click 'Copy for Claude' on your result page. Paste the block at the start of a conversation or in your Claude project settings. Claude will use your preferences to tailor responses.

Can I share my profile?

Yes. Use 'Save & copy link' to get a shareable URL, or 'Copy profile URL' for a link that encodes your profile. You can also use the API: GET /api/profile/[id] returns your profile as JSON.

What happens with dating profiles?

For dating profiles, we ask for your email, gender, who you're looking for, age, location, and relationship preferences after the quiz. Your personality profile and these details help us match you with compatible partners.

Is mbtai free?

Yes. The quiz, profile generation, and all copy/share features are free. No account required for work or hobby profiles.
